I have come to the conclusion that I do entirely too many things that don’t directly involve me writing or drawing. Take this years x-mas ornaments fiasco. About 120 man hours went into those things start to finish…that could have been 12 new pages of A.L. Pages that at worst case scenario would have ruined a shirt or pair of pants if I spilled the ink. Pages that net from 250.00 to 500 each for the original art…plus profit from the books once they are printed and sold, plus whatever peripheral cash I may generate selling the story to some larger entity. Instead I destroyed my kitchen and parts of my apartment, probably took some years off my life from the fumes..and disappointed a bunch of people.
***as one final insult to injury…If you didn’t get your ornament yet it may be because you were one of the lucky few whose ornament …in my haste and chemical fume fueled lack of patience…packed it into the box filled with packing peanuts, only to find out it was not completely dry after all. So…those had to get the peanuts unstuck, painted cleaned off and painted again. fun. NOT.***

ANYWAYS…from now on it’s about content. Writing and drawing. I’m not fabricating, sculpting, orbiting off more than I can chew of a bunch of projects that are going to blow up in my face.
That’s my new years resolution of sorts.
To give myself a bit of a fresh start…I am also cleaning out this office. EVERYTHING’S GOTTA GO. Everything I’m tired of tripping over, knocking over, stepping on or finding when I am actually looking for something else…or just sick of looking at is out of here. and YES you can use your Kickstarter discount or any other discount code you can have or can come up with.

…we have here a box of shirts that only fit large men or tiny women. Now, you would think at a comic book convention there would be a larger percentage of large men, and little girls. As it turns out…medium is the most popular size. I have been trying to get rid of these apparently odd sizes for 6 months. TAKE THEM PLEASE. You don’t even have to wear them..you can cut the image out and sew it to your jean jacket like it’s 1985 in England,or sew it to you backpack or frame it ..I don’t care, just take them. Stopped after the coat of red paint because I realized I didn’t need any more. In retrospect stopping at red would have been fine and saved me about 40 hours. no base include. 15.00

These things are only good for a certain amount of copies and then they start to tear or break down. This ones MAYBE…maybe got one more cast left in it’s life, but I wouldn’t count on it. You could pick this up and have in on the shelf next to your ornament or something. It’s probably toxic so don’t go trying to use it to make really cool ice cubes. 15.00

Factory seconds shot glasses
Some of these just didn’t pass the muster as far as I’m concerned. Nothing hideous and most people probably wouldn’t notice, but some of these had a bit of a blur or bleed here and there. I’m selling them by the box (12 units) for 25.00.

Damaged Hard covers of “the Big Stall”
These were printed ONLY for the Kickstarter program. About half a dozen were damaged i.e.I screwed up while sketching. I certainly am not going to give a crappy sketch to someone who saved Arsenic Lullaby’s ass last year…but you can have one of these now as a reader copy. each of these has a “x” scratched into the cover so that I wouldn’t accidentally ship it to anyone. every time you ship a box of books to a convention a few get damaged…plus a few get bent up from handling. Over the course of a year I have about FORTY @#%$@*! DAMAGED COPIES. ARSENIC LULLABY CONVENTION BANNER
This was hand painted by me…apparently twice because I already sold a slightly larger one last year. I found this one in a box of table clothes. I must have made it up for San Diego where I get a corner booth and need two banners. I used to paint all my banner by hand. why? because I’m stupid, and didn’t take into account that while I was saving SOME money by not having it printed I was costing myself A LOT of time. This banner probably took me about 5 hours which means half a page of Arsenic Lullaby didn’t get done. stupid. Anyhow this is about 5 feet by 3 feet and has been to Comic-Con International!
